Best time Fine Hard season

The ideal time to visit Greece is between May and September. During this period, the weather is sunny and warm, and you can explore beaches and historical sites without crowds. In the summer months, especially in July and August, there is a heavy influx of tourists. Therefore, traveling outside this period offers a more comfortable experience.

Season by season

Spring

May opens the island season: cool sea, low prices, Santorini not yet full.

Summer

July and August are hot, windy and very crowded. Early June is the best compromise.

Autumn

September is the best month of the year: warmest sea, thinner crowds, sunsets still long.

Winter

Most island businesses close and ferries thin out. Athens in winter is a museum and neighbourhood city.
