Which one for whom?

Why Barcelona?

A hill, the sea, a neighborhood. Do not put all three on the same day.

You will not get lost easily in Barcelona. You will get tired easily. The grid keeps you oriented, and the distances deceive you. One metro stop can stand in for a twenty-minute walk.

Why Rome?

Two full days for the ancient city, one afternoon for a single neighborhood. Rome opens with pace, not with a list.

You can love Rome in three days. You cannot finish it. The Colosseum asks for a morning. Stay in the same district all afternoon and you wear out the stone, and yourself.
